Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your access to and use of Atlas (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity in workspaces you administer. Each new account receives its own private workspace; you control who else is invited to it.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of all pages, files and other content you upload. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, index, transmit and display that content in order to operate the Service, including generating search embeddings and AI answers for your workspace.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content.
- Do not attempt to access data belonging to another workspace.
- Do not probe, scan, or overload the Service or its AI endpoints.
- Do not resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.
5. AI features and credits
AI search, answers and transcription consume AI credits metered on real token usage. Each organization receives a free monthly allowance; usage beyond that is billed at the rate shown on our pricing page. AI output can be inaccurate — review it before relying on it for decisions.
6. Third-party connections
You may connect external tools (for example MCP clients or meeting providers). Those services are governed by their own terms and we are not responsible for their behaviour or availability. You are responsible for the scope of access you grant them.
7. Fees and billing
The core wiki is free. Paid AI usage is billed per organization in arrears. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes. Refunds are handled under our refund policy.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change or remove features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, or where required by law.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
