1. Scope

This policy explains what information Atlas collects, why we collect it, and how it is handled. It covers the Atlas application and website.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address and workspace membership.
• Workspace content: pages, comments, uploaded files and their transcripts.
• Usage data: feature events, AI credit consumption and error logs.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and timestamps of requests.

3. How we use it

We use your information to operate the Service, authenticate users, index content for search, generate AI answers within your workspace, meter AI usage for billing, send notifications you have opted into, and protect the Service against abuse.

4. AI processing

When you use AI search or transcription, relevant excerpts of your workspace content are sent to our AI provider to produce a response. Retrieval is restricted to content you are permitted to read. We do not use your workspace content to train foundation models.

5. Isolation and security

Every table enforces row-level security, and access is scoped to your organization and space permissions. Data does not cross workspace boundaries, even for users who belong to more than one. Files are stored in private buckets with per-page access checks. Data is encrypted in transit.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the infrastructure and AI providers required to run the Service, with services you explicitly connect, and where required by law.

7. Retention

Workspace content is retained while your workspace exists. Deleting a page, file or workspace removes it and its derived search index. Operational logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information. Workspace admins can action most of these directly in workspace settings; otherwise contact us.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember interface preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
